Cancellation Policy

Discover our cancellation policy and learn how to manage your lessons effectively at BioCore. We are committed to providing a fair and transparent process for all our students. This policy applies to all online tutoring classes, courses, and educational services purchased directly through the BioCore website.

1. General Rules

  • All refund requests must be made in writing via email to connect@biocoreeducation.com

  • Refund eligibility is determined based on the type of service purchased, the timing of the cancellation request, and specific conditions outlined below.

  • Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

2. Cancellation by the Student/Parent/Guardian

a. For Individual Classes (Single Session Bookings):

  • Cancellation 24 hours or more before the scheduled class start time: You are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled class start time: No refund will be issued. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a credit for future use if unforeseen circumstances (e.g., documented medical emergency) are presented. 

  • No-Show: If you do not attend a scheduled class without prior cancellation, no refund or credit will be issued.

b. For Course Packages (Multiple Sessions/Full Courses): 

  • Cancellation before the first session of the package has commenced: You are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellation after the first session but before 25% of the total sessions are completed: You may be eligible for a partial refund, calculated on a pro-rata basis for the remaining unused sessions. An administrative fee of  [10%] may be deducted.

  • Cancellation after 25% or more of the total sessions are completed: No refund will be issued for the remaining sessions.

  • Access to Course Materials: If the course package includes access to downloadable or immediately accessible digital materials, no refund will be issued once such materials have been accessed or downloaded, regardless of the number of sessions completed.

  • No-Show for multiple sessions in a package: Repeated no-shows without prior notification may result in forfeiture of remaining sessions without a refund.

c. For Digital Products/Downloadable Materials (if applicable): 

  • All sales of digital products (e.g., e-books, pre-recorded video lectures, practice tests) are final and non-refundable once the product has been accessed, downloaded, or delivered electronically.

  • Refunds may be considered only in cases of verifiable technical faults preventing access to the product.

 

d. Procedure for Student Cancellation:

  1. Send an email to connect@biocoreeducation.com with the subject line: "Cancellation Request - [Your Name] - [Order Number/Class Name]".

  2. Include your full name, the class/course name, order number, and the reason for cancellation.

  3. We will review your request and notify you of the outcome via email within 5 business days.

3. Cancellation by BioCore

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes or courses under certain circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered the following options:

a. Tutor Unavailability: 

  • If a scheduled class needs to be cancelled due to tutor unavailability, we will endeavor to provide a suitable replacement tutor or reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time.

  • If rescheduling is not possible or acceptable to you, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled session(s).

b. Insufficient Enrolment (for group classes/courses):

  • If a group class or course does not meet the minimum required enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel it. 

  • In such an event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your enrollment to a future iteration of the course or another available class.

c. Technical Issues on Our End: 

  • If a class cannot be conducted or completed due to a technical issue on our end (e.g., platform malfunction), we will attempt to reschedule the session.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund for the affected session.

d. Violation of Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including ongoing classes, without a refund, if you are found to violate our Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to engaging in disruptive behaviour, harassment, or unauthorised sharing of content.

4. Refund Processing

  • Timeline: Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment processor.

  • Method: Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., credit card, debit card, PayPal account). We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method.

  • Deductions: Please note that original transaction fees charged by payment gateways (if any) may not be refundable and may be deducted from your refund amount. Any administrative fees as specified in Section 3 may also be deducted.
